Jeffrey Lorell has devoted his professional career to the litigation and resolution of sophisticated, complex, civil cases and alternate dispute resolution proceedings.
He has over 35 years of experience in complex, multi-party, civil litigation, arbitration, and mediation, with an emphasis on all aspects of business litigation, directors and officers defense, fraud, securities, lender liability, antitrust, trademark and unfair competition and subrogation. He has extensive experience in handling litigation and ADR proceedings involving the dissolution of professional partnerships and corporations, and employment related matters such as restrictive covenants, client solicitation, improper use and disclosure of proprietary and confidential information.
Jeff frequently litigates trademark, copyright, and unfair competition matters and supervises the firm’s construction litigation and counseling department. In that role, he represents owners (both public and private, including condominium associations and cooperatives), architects, engineers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

Represented national company in defense of high profile racial discrimination suit by EEOC and numerous interveners.
Represented industrial conglomerate owned by Saudi government in defense of half-billion dollar contract and fraud claims by American petroleum company.
Defended national real estate developer against multi-million dollar claims of contract breach and breach of fiduciary duty.
Represented well-known architectural firm and engineering firm in defense of various malpractice claims.
Represented major insurance company to recover multi-million dollar property loss.
Defended seller of chemical manufacturing plant to chemical conglomerate against multi-million dollar contract and tort claims arising out of alleged latent defects in plant causing an employee fatality.
Represented law firms, departing partners and partner groups in law firm dissolution disputes.
