David M. Farkouh practices insurance coverage litigation in state and federal courts with emphasis on construction-related third party property and casualty matters, which involve insurance products ranging from commercial general liability, additional insurance, excess, and umbrella, to professional services, builder's risk, owner controlled programs, custom property insurance, and manuscript policy forms. His practice experience includes insurance coverage litigation and counseling with respect to various forms of liability insurance, as well as first party homeowners and property coverage. David also has experience in litigation involving claims of professional negligence and environmental liability.
Professional History
David served as law clerk to the Hon. Amy P. Chambers in the Appellate Chancery and Law Divisions of the Superior Court of New Jersey (2004–2005). Prior to that David servied as an intern to the Hon. Ronald J. Hedges, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey (2004), in the New York Stock Exchange, Department of Enforcement (2003), and the National Association of Securities Dealers, Department of Enforcement (2003). That same year he also took part in the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice Civil Litigation Clinic.
