Jakob Halpern Appointed to International Trademark Association's Emerging Issues Committee

Jakob Halpern, a member of Saiber's business litigation and intellectual property practice groups, has been appointed to serve a two-year term on the International Trademark Association's Emerging Issues Committee.

INTA is the global association of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property in order to protect consumers and to promote fair and effective commerce. The Emerging Issues Committee identifies and advocates the Association's policy regarding important trends and emerging issues related to trademarks, and proposes policy recommendations to INTA's Board. Duties include report and submission writing, and advocacy in conjunction with relevant INTA committees and staff. Jake's appointment is effective beginning January 1, 2018.
