Intellectual Property New Jersey

Intellectual Property

Creativity. Invention. Original ideas. Saiber assists clients in protecting the genius of the human mind.

Our lawyers are experienced in national and international intellectual property matters and in counseling firms to safeguard their intellectual assets. We counsel corporations and other clients in the investigation and analysis of trademark searches, proposed trademarks, trademark and copyright registrations, the use and licensing of copyrighted material, Internet and e-commerce matters, domain names, advertising and marketing, and the use, licensing and acquisition of intellectual property rights. We also counsel firms regarding the creation, use, maintenance and protection of trade secrets and confidential business information.

We have significant experience in virtually every type of intellectual property litigation. We have represented clients as plaintiffs and defendants in all types of matters under the Lanham Act; in emergent injunctions and trial matters in federal and state courts involving unfair competition, trade secrets, trademarks, trade dress, dilution, copyright, breach of confidentiality agreements, employee restrictive covenants, Internet, e-commerce, "cybersquatting" and website disputes, false advertising, royalty and licensing; and in patent issues, including antitrust and business tort claims.

Our firm has correspondent relationships with intellectual property firms in other countries and as required, we represent clients in other states in cooperation with local counsel with whom we have established relations. For many years, our lawyers have served as local counsel of choice in New Jersey for leading intellectual property firms in the United States.

Our lawyers are active and regularly chair committees in the International Trademark Association and intellectual property sections of the American, New Jersey and New York Bar Associations. Since 2007, two of our attorneys have served as co-chairs and Masters of the Intellectual Property/Federal Practice Inn of Court, one of only a handful of Inn programs in the U.S. devoted to the litigation of intellectual property matters. In addition, one of our attorneys is a Trustee of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey and serves as the Chair of its Pro Bono Committee. Our lawyers also publish articles and contribute to and participate in legal education programs in the field.
