Tolu Adetayo is an associate in Saiber’s Gaming Law and Administrative & Regulatory practice groups.

Tolu provides legal guidance to a range of businesses operating within the dynamic gaming industry landscape. His experience spans regulatory compliance, product development, market entry, and commercial matters. Tolu navigates the complex regulatory frameworks governing sports wagering, daily fantasy sports, horse racing, and other interactive gaming products. His practical experience working alongside product, engineering, compliance, and business teams enables him to help clients manage regulatory risk while bringing new products and features to market across multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Saiber, Tolu served as product and regulatory counsel for a leading online gaming company, where he advised on gaming products offered throughout the United States and Canada. His experience included supporting national product launches, advising on the launch of sportsbook operations in new jurisdictions, and implementing self-exclusion and responsible gaming initiatives. He also counseled the business on technology, SaaS, data privacy, platform governance, and commercial agreements.

Earlier in his career, Tolu practiced as a corporate associate at a prominent law firm, where he represented emerging companies, venture capital investors, private funds, and technology businesses in financings, mergers and acquisitions, fund formations, and general corporate matters. He has also served as in-house counsel to a technology company and advised businesses on regulatory compliance, strategic partnerships, and international transactions.

Tolu earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Lagos, his Master of Laws in Business, Trade, and Investment Law from American University Washington College of Law, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Nigeria.
