On Wednesday, February 28th, Christle Garvey will present to the Gateway Society of Human Resource Management on employment and labor law trends and updates. The program will survey the rapidly changing employment and labor law landscape on both the federal and local (NY and NJ) levels, and will provide updates on a variety of important areas including Affordable Care Act compliance, important decisions from the NLRB reversing course from the prior administration, and medical leave laws, among other updates. The program will also discuss hot topics in HR trending in 2018, including the notable spike in sexual harassment complaints, and review best practices for addressing these issues in the workplace to limit exposure for employers.
