Ami Foger Serves on Judging Panel for Rutgers Law School’s 2019 Transactional Competition

December 3, 2019

On November 22 and 23, Saiber member Ami Foger served as a panel judge for Rutgers Law School’s annual Transactional Law Competition held by Rutgers Law School’s Center for Corporate Law and Governance.  As part of the competition, students enrolled in the Transactional Competition Course worked in teams representing either the buyer or the seller in a mock-business acquisition.  After several rounds of observed negotiation, the judges reviewed the related acquisition documents, and scored student performances and provided feedback to the competitors.

Saiber has participated in the program since 2017.  This year, over 40 students took part in the competition.  The judging panel was comprised of practicing transactional attorneys from New York and New Jersey.
