June 16, 2021

Jakob Halpern has been named to the Board of Trustees of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey.  Jake, along with other members of the federal bar who were selected to serve on the Board, including President-Elect Beth Sher, will be inducted at a swearing in ceremony on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021.

The Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey serves attorneys who practice in the District of New Jersey’s three federal vicinages: Newark, Trenton, and Camden. Now in its 50th year, the AFBNJ is the voice of the federal bar in New Jersey, a district with distinguished judges and lawyers who freely and courteously share their views on matters of federal practice.

Jake Halpern represents clients in corporate, commercial, complex and multi-party litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property, employment, competition law, and professional malpractice matters, predominantly before the federal courts. He also counsels clients regarding intellectual property rights and employment issues.  Prior to joining Saiber, Jake clerked for the Hon. William Matthew Byrne, Jr., on the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (magna cum laude) in 2004, and his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1999.
