Saiber LLC is pleased to announce that higher education, school law, and employment law attorney DanaLynn Colao has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of The Academy of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, N.J. In her role as a Board Member, DanaLynn will help guide the School’s administration in matters that concern governance, budgeting, auditing, fundraising, legal issues, and strategic planning. The Academy of Saint Elizabeth is an independent college preparatory school for young women, founded in 1860.
DanaLynn’s practice focuses on higher education and school law, employment and labor issues, contract matters, and professional liability. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Higher Education Committee, and serves as a member of the School Law Committee. DanaLynn counsels clients on a wide array of issues that arise in the workplace including new hires, medical leaves of absence, wage and hour claims, employment agreements, discrimination and harassment grievances, restrictive covenants and confidentiality agreements, termination decisions as well as separation agreements. She routinely prepares and updates employee handbooks, and provides training to clients on various topics, including appropriate conduct in the workplace, harassment, discrimination, family leave and effective communication and management of employees. DanaLynn also has extensive experience conducting comprehensive investigations of a variety of matters for public and private clients, including inappropriate conduct in the workplace, ethical violations, conflicts of interest, policy violations and bullying.
DanaLynn earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, and her B.A. from American University.
