Saiber LLC attorney Justin Calta represented Dragonfly NJ Inc., an affiliate of the Michigan-based Dragonfly Cannabis brand, in obtaining municipal land use approval to operate a cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility on an approximate 40-acre site in West Milford, New Jersey.
In April 2025, Dragonfly NJ received conditional licenses from the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission for both cultivation and manufacturing. That same month, the West Milford Township Council adopted resolutions supporting Dragonfly’s proposed operations at the property.
The West Milford Planning Board unanimously voted to approve Dragonfly’s subsequent site plan application and adopted a resolution to that effect on July 24, 2025. While other State and County approvals remain pending, the municipal site plan approval marks a major step for Dragonfly, West Milford, and the New Jersey cannabis cultivation market.
