Jennifer O'Connor concentrates her practice on employment counseling and litigation as well as complex insurance coverage law and litigation.
Responsive, detailed and a tenacious advocate, Jennifer advises clients on a variety of workplace issues through all phases of the employment relationship. She counsels management on compliance with federal and state employment regulations, prepares and updates employee handbooks and policies, provides targeted workplace training and conducts independent investigations for public and private clients alike. Jennifer represents businesses and their employees in employment related disputes in state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels, as well as before administrative tribunals and in arbitration, defending matters alleging wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, hostile work environment, breach of contract, and employment-related torts.
Jennifer also represents insurance companies in state and federal courts in coverage disputes and related matters involving general and excess liability, errors and omissions coverage, directors' and officers' liability, professional liability, employment practices liability, environmental coverage, fiduciary liability and not-for-profit organization coverage.
Jennifer frequently speaks at industry and legal conferences about the latest trends in employment and insurance law.
