Paola Ciappina Hemsley

Paola Hemsley concentrates her practice in employment counseling and litigation. 

Paola has handled a variety of employment actions for corporate clients and insurance companies, defending against discrimination, hostile work environment,  wrongful discharge, breach of contract and compensation claims.  She also regularly provides employment counseling and legal advice on a wide range of workplace issues, including but not limited to matters relating to hiring, termination, reductions-in-force, wage and hour laws, family and medical leave, disability accommodations, religious accommodations, and reductions in force.

Paola also has experience preparing employment agreements, offer letters, non-compete agreements, job descriptions, separation and severance agreements and independent contractor agreements.  She also prepares, develops and reviews employment policies and handbooks.  

Prior to joining Saiber, Paola served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sylvia B. Pressler, former Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
