A Saiber team lead by Jeremy Kleiman and Ariana LoGiudice represented Entain plc, one of the world's largest sports betting and gaming groups, in connection with its acquisition of Angstrom Sports, a specialist provider of next generation sports modelling, forecasting and data analytics. Saiber served as regulatory counsel in connection with the acquisition, which is valued at £81 million at closing, with additional contingent payments totaling a maximum of £122 million, payable over three years.
According to a press release issued by Entain, the deal allows Entain to leverage Angstroms highly sophisticated in-house forecasting, analytics, risk and pricing capabilities for US Sports betting markets.
