Zinnia Faruque represents clients in complex, civil litigation matters in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts. Zinnia has litigated, counseled, and reached resolution for corporate and individual clients in all areas of employment law, including sexual harassment; discrimination; whistleblowing; wage and hour; and breach of contract claims. She also focuses her practice on complex, multi-party business litigation; insurance coverage and defense; and intellectual property rights. Her clients include both small and big businesses, non-profits, and individuals in a variety of industries, including insurance, communications services, healthcare services, medical products, and other service and product industries.
Prior to attending law school, Zinnia worked as a daily newspaper reporter at the Herald News in Northern New Jersey, where she covered city government, education, and affordable housing issues, and was awarded a competitive fellowship with the American Society of News Editors, Associated Press (of) Media Editors, and the Freedom Forum foundation.
